What's up with this mess?
This eyesore is right in the center of the Village, most people in Coconut Grove see this. Why?
It's bad enough that FPL feels the need to graffiti the streets in the name of progress (leave the gas lights alone!), but does this crime scene image need to be there especially now and tomorrow for Bike Day? I am working that booth tomorrow, giving info to the lost and confused visitors, hope it's not looking like that when I get there at 9 am.

9am it is again tomorrow. Weather is just great. Carlos
Underground locates (the "graffiti") keep construction workers from both killing themselves and cutting your underground water & sewer, communications, and electric. ALL utilities must be marked for any digging. http://www.callsunshine.com
Didn't you recently state it was the Grove's (BID's?) decision to change them out?
I would love to help give you a solution to keeping the gas lights. I can convert them to low voltage electric or over to solar. Please contact me at, charm-lite@hotmail.com for more info.
Thanks for wanting to keep the gas lights. Victoria
