Pleasant dining experience at George's in the Grove
George's in the Grove is known for their great food, now they make the dining experince even nicer. In the winter they used outdoor heaters, now that the hot summer months are coming George's has this cool new thing -- literally -- it's an outside air conditioner.I've never seen this before. I guess it is the opposite of the heating lamps used in the winter.
I don't think it is probably a very green thing to do for the environment, and especially the grass in the planter there, but it will make outside dining more bearable in the hot summer months.

Yeah, I agree. Outside AC is frivolous and not environmentally sound.
As long as he can afford it, George has got a great idea here. I know it's not so green, but neither is AC, which most of us use in the summer anyway.
the staff is wonderful and george, himself, is a hoot. i love that place. great service!
Did you feel the same way when it was cold and all the restaurants had heaters. Chill guys!
