Pleasant dining experience at George's in the Grove
I've never seen this before. I guess it is the opposite of the heating lamps used in the winter.
I don't think it is probably a very green thing to do for the environment, and especially the grass in the planter there, but it will make outside dining more bearable in the hot summer months.

Yeah, I agree. Outside AC is frivolous and not environmentally sound.
As long as he can afford it, George has got a great idea here. I know it's not so green, but neither is AC, which most of us use in the summer anyway.
the staff is wonderful and george, himself, is a hoot. i love that place. great service!
Did you feel the same way when it was cold and all the restaurants had heaters. Chill guys!
