No one is responsible for quality service; they know it

My friend was at the Grove post office and on the wall is a large sign that says "The person responsible for bringing you quality service . . ." and there is a slot below for the person's name. But that area was left blank. Guess they know the truth about their service, or lack of it and they don't want to false advertise by putting anybody's name in the slot.

Thes best is when there is a line out the door and 2 out of the 3 agents decide to go on break.

It's always better to be honest about what you can deliver, right?

Let's give the postal employees a pat on the back for delivering our mail and having self respect under such demoralizing and terrible management, believe me, this is not only happening at this location, the management problem is widespread.

Just wait with $4,000 billion being put into the economy to essentially nationalize key industries (automobile, banking healthcare) you will soon get a whole lot more of this quality service.

I never go to the post office here. Last time I sent out christmas cards they delivered them to my address which was on the upper left corner of the envelope. I go to Postal Plus (bird) for everything now. The service there is amazing and they actually help you. (and no I don't work for them.)

I got my neighbors mail again today. The people that deliver the mail make between $40000-$80000 per year and they cannot take the time to look at the address to make sure it's the right house or business. This has been an ongoing issue for 3+ years. I am sure there are plenty of people looking for work that would take their time and make sure the delivery is done properly.

Please HELP this is ridiculous and yes I have contacted everyone and their mothers too!

Not defending the crap service at our Post Office, but keep in mind that those breaks the counter-people always seem to be taking are Union-mandated.

With the revolving door of management there, it's no wonder that there hasn't been a workable union/management relationship. Unfortunately in a union shop without that relationship....well you see what happens.
