Here is your summer art project

Sometime this summer the Windisch-Hunt Gallery will be staging a summer exhibit with a mermaid theme.

This show is not for paintings only, but also for dolls turned into mermaids that must be able to hang from the ceiling as an installation and they will even reward the best mermaid via people's choice voting. Something like a Barbie Doll tricked out.

The mermaid should be for sale. She needs to have their own carrying case or box. Each box will be labeled with the artist's name and can be designed and be part of the art.

You have over two months to create and submit for this installation. The submission fee is $10.00 per mermaid doll, if you enter a painting, then the mermaid is entered free. For each painting submitted, you may have a mermaid submitted at no charge.

I love these art projects, and double the kudos to Anna Marie for engaging the community in such a worthwhile endeavor as is the pursuit of art.

I am working on my mermaids already... do you happen to have the e-mail or website for the gallery?
