Flowers up in the air
Many people have been asking about adding flowers to our light posts like they do in many cities. I noticed these other options in New York, on Madison Avenue, on the Upper East Side. They look like torches, but they hold flowers that are in season. They go up and down the streets and are spaced every 15 feet or so. It's just another idea that may work here, but I like the lower flower pots better, that they have at the Bryant Park area.

I love it and I love the shrubs next to it. We are so desperately in need of flowers, shrubs and greenery in the Village. I hope someone takes this on and gets some planters out there and that they follow up on the maintenance and watering.
I'll bet nobody picks the flowers in these.
