Eleven Leprechauns (3120 Commodore Plaza) is having a 1980's party called "Get Into the Grove -- for 80s Ladies," every Wednesday night.Drinks are 80 cents (well and domestic draft) and there will be food specials. There is no cover. The featured DJ is Walter Capote.

I went by this place last week to check it out. The manager (or a guy whom I believed was manager) was outside, drunk (or acting drunk). He was one of the most annoying people Ive ever met in my life, trying to show off in front of the girls who worked there. There wasnt one person inside the place and it was just after happy hour. He decided he would start heckling people to get them to come inside but it did nothing but scare them off. The guy is a loser and I told the girls I felt bad for them. They were embarrassed. No thanks on this place. Its no different that the previous jokesters that were there.
Hey, this is the kind of bar ya say you want in the Grove so ya got it guys! They will be here for awhile and then move to Kendall.
I'd like to know who this manager is...
Knowing who is promoting that night, I am guessing it was the promoter not the manager. He is a local promoter/drunk who has been let go from many establshments in the Grove because of his manor.
I attended this party last night and it was refreshing to see an older crowd, still having as much fun, but not mixing with the college group that comes in on Thursday nights. The party lasts all the way through until midnight, or so I read on the poster they had up infront of the venue. Great party, see you guys there next wednesday.
I was at the bar all night and never saw or heard a thing. I think someone has way too much time on their hands. Get a life.
Its ironic that the comment about the screaming manager and the fact that there was noone in the place was placed even before the bar was open..hhmmmmmm....
