How many protesters will leave Grove for new school?

You may remember the A&M School fiasco last December, when the students were out protesting the loss of their favorite music teacher.

Well, the teacher, Alfredo De La Rosa, has popped up again. He is turning the Channel 10 studios on Biscayne Blvd. into his new Charter School. Channel 10 is moving to a new building and De La Rosa is renovating the old tv building and studio into a great arts-themed Charter School.

Wonder how many of the kids that were so in love with Mr. D will follow him to the new school now.

I don't know how many A&M students will join the Miami Arts Charter School family next year, but the auditions 2 weeks ago had 130 students attend, a lot of which were current A&M students.
And as of now, there are another 100 students from all over Dade County scheduled to audition on the 28th of March; with more and more applications coming in every day!
More auditions will be held throughout the entire remainder of the school year and summer until the school's capacity is filled.

Visit http://www.miamiartscharter.net for more information!

It's incredible! And with directors like the de la Rosa's, it is bound for glory!

Looking at the success that Miami Arts Charter has obtained without a huge marketing act, which is about to come, they have had hundreds apply to MAC. The A&M students are more than excited that their directors have come up with such a great opportunity. Amongst others opinions about these two, I feel the successm of this school is arising sooner than those expect. Kids all around Dade County are going to be speaking of MIAMI ARTS CHARTER... The new wave into Charter schools...

Check it out at WWW.Miamiartscharter.net

You ask they respond within seconds... it doesnt get any better than that!!!

You can bet your bottom dollar I'm leaving A&M for MAC. The new school is going to be awesomeness simply because the D's run it. They incorporate so much into their work.

When the climate favors life, rivers and rain, rice, corn, fish from the sea, cattle, pigs and chickens, the arts abound, people get fat, everyone smiles and life is pleasant.

Location is irrelevant here. The design distric has been revitilized; MAC will be right across the street from DASH. Mr. and Mrs. De La Rosa will turn this new school into a meca for music and voice students. This will be a school that will be managed by two outstanding music educators; who deal on a day to day basis with their students and who understand the student's needs.

to the previous comment. When were you in the design district. At an opening when throngs of people also attended or in the daytime when it is desolate with not a friendly face in sight.
