Why would they have an Opening reception on a Friday night when we all are participating in the 1st Sat. of the Month Art Stroll. This would maximize traffic to their gallery and not being a team player. Until we all decide that we want to switch days we are still doing First Sat. Art Stroll in Coconut Grove. Windisch-Hunt Fine Art is holding it's opening reception Sat. from 7 - 9 p.m. featuring Jane Krause's "A study in movement" with a special performance based on this work by dancer choreographer VINCENT ETAGWEYO at 8 p.m.

Why have an opening on a friday night, a younger crowd will not be in attendance, they'll be in the Grove but not at an Art Show. Saturdays are a better day for it. Plus why not make the Artist's walk the main event of the weekend, you don't start the weekend off with a bang, you utilize the Saturday as best you can.
As an art student I feel that this is a strange way to run an art show, b/c the show is early on a Friday night, almost during midterms and no one really goes to the Grove before 8pm and that's just b/c the Ibis Ride doesn't start until then.
