Eating at the competition is a good thing
I love when I see various restaurant owners and employees from one restaurant eating in another restaurant. This happens often. We joke about it, but it's a good thing when people can try out other places and appreciate something other than their own food.
It says a lot about them and actually makes you appreciate them and their restaurant even more.

They've got to do that; imagine having an Italian restaurant and eating nothing but that all week or Indian or Sushi, you've got to get out for other tastes and other restaurants should consider it a compliment.
Unfortunately, most don't.
