I don't wanna buy the booth, I just want a gyro

gyro
These guys at the Arts Festival stood there all day doing nothing because people were not prepared to pay $10.00 for a gyro. They also did not want to pay $4.00 for a hot dog or $8.00 for a cheeseburger. Can you spell rip off? A stupid move in these difficult economic times.

The items were a fraction of the cost at the St. Stephen's Arts and Crafts Fair.

yeah, and 6 bucks for a canned beer, 3.50 for water.. I just carry a small back-pack, go to the Fresh Market,, (half a block away) and spend all day out at the Arts show and the Grove streets.

I don't know why the Fresh Market hasn't advertised their food and drinks more, with flyers and a sign, as hordes and hordes of people walk right by it all day long.. need cold water, great sandwiches or ANYTHING at reasonal prices? walk half a block, 100 yards to the Fresh Market. (I should get paid for this)

I enjoy the gyro, but 10 bucks, and then they threw in soggy fries. Is there any recommendations for a good Greek restaurant? Does this tent have another restaurant? I look forward to the gyro and I did splurge, but I thought it was a rip off also.

Mykonos is good for greek - not in the grove and obviously nto for the arts festival. It's on Coral Way closer to downtown (when Coral Way makes a turn) more towards the Roads. Good food and entirely reasonable prices. Not a place for "ambiance" and parking is incredibly tight, but the food is good.
