Big changes for Earth Day events in Grove
Earth Day is March 28. Look for big changes in the Grove this year for participation in this event. It will be more than just turning off the lights and lighting candles for an hour. Stay tuned.

Earth Day has been on April 22nd since the 70's. Did it get changed this year?
Sorry, that should be "Earth Hour," the hour that electricity is turned off all over the country.
GROVE CHAMBER is coordinating with Miami representatives of WWF ((World Wildlife Fund), the originators of Earth Hour around the world, for Grove participation this year. On March 28 at 9 pm the lights will switch off for an hour in as many establishments as wish to participate. Businesses will be able to build promotions around it. For instance, Chamber will be having Dinner and a movie at Al Fresco- a screening of an inconvenient truth, followed by candlelight dinner on the terrace. Othe ideas are in the works... so that hopefully all Grove will be having activities.-- Lili Dones
