Grape,

I called chanel 10 about 4:45 pm today offering excellent video of the sailboat fire at Dinner Key. FREE!
Filmed from a high floor of the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel, it is far superior to the "slide show" they offer, which seemed to be taken when the fire was almost out.

No return call. Guess it was not on their "Master Waterfront Plan".

They took their own video and photos from their news helicopter. That's why they probably didn't want yours. They had a crew cover it.

When the mooring field plan goes into effect, it will finally stop the homeless live aboards . Tough way for a poor dog to die. On cold days my guess is they were trying to heat up the cabin. I guess it didnot go the way they thought. The Russian should have charged channel 10 news, then they might have jumped on it. But here in CG, Grapevine First all other news blogs Second.

Where do you think the live aboards will go once the mooring field goes in to affect? You certainly wouldn't want the live aboards roaming your beautiful overpriced place you call home of Coconut Grove, do you? The live aboards choose to live and work from the anchorage. Who can afford rent in the Grove or any where else in the City of Miami. Did you know the majority of live aboards are veterans?
