The antique dealers have taken over the Grove

antiques2
Mayfair is all abuzz today because the Antique Market has come to town.

There is so much activity that it is infectious. The antique dealers have started filling up the space inside the old Benetton store and the plaza outside has tents going up at this very moment.

At left is Hugo Pintos, one of the dealers, who has antique pens and ink wells. Above is one of the booths set up inside the window, right on Grand Avenue.

Cars and vans are in and out and people are back and forth, inside and out and all around the Grove. The vendors are getting coffee at The Bookstore and checking out the local restaurants. It's enveloping the Grove.

The Antiques and Collectible Market will be here all weekend -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They'll be open all day, starting at about 11 am. There is no entry fee.
