Sunny and Zane Lightsey fundraiser at Christabelle's Quarter

I was talking to the lovely Virginia, last night, all glittery on her pimped-out bike. After telling me off for writing about her friend, the door lady at Christabelle's Quarter, she informed me of a charity event at Christabelle's.

It is for Melissa Lightsey, you may have seen
her story in The Herald last month. She was a Grove resident. Her body was found floating in St. Augustine Inlet, her husband Ben was taken into custody.

Now there are two children left without a mother and a father in jail -- three-year-old Sunny and 18-month-old Zane. Virginia is holding the inaugural Sunny and Zane Lightsey fundraiser. It's Tuesday, December 9 from 6 to 11 pm at Christabelle's Quarter (3157 Commodore Plaza).

Since when is Ellen's name Virginia? I am feeling a little dizzy and confused - which is what typically happens when she's around...

Melissa's children need more than money, but it's a start.

I commend Ellen/Virginia on her most sincere efforts.
