King Mango "Mangobama" t-shirts are available
The long-awaited Mangobama King Mango Strut t-shirts are in. The Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue) has them for sale and also Strut posters are available, signed by the artist Dylan Terry (the Eco-Hunk). Here is Glenn, Dylan's dad, creator of the King Mango Strut which will be taking over the Grove streets on December 28.
There are also t-shirts from last year's Strut available for those who are missing that from their collection. Look for the clothes line in the window. That isn't really laundry hanging, those are the shirts. Only $15.00. See the birdies saying, "Cheap, cheap, cheap?"
There's an Amazing Race concept, too -- you rush in, purchase two shirts, ask for the Grapevine cube and you'll receive the lyrics to the Mangobama song and the cube. Then you run out. To where, I don't know, I guess to wait for the Strut to begin on December 28.
