GroveHouse "Paint Out" winners announced today

The GroveHouse held their "Paint Out" yesterday and today on the streets throughout the Grove and this afternoon, in the courtyard of the GroveHouse, prizes were handed out to the winners.

Above are Barbara Tejada and Karen Deilke handing out awards, with Terry Arroyo Mulrooney behind them. It was a perfect weekend for the "Paint Out."


Charles Schuette, Chairman of Coconut Grove Bank, hands Don Calhoun his award. The Bank was sponsor of the Photography portion of the contest and Don won first prize. At right is a painting by Jean Rebholz of the Information Booth on Main Highway. I told Jean that most of us hate those booths, but this one I actually like, she did a great job at making it likable.


Marilyn Liedman won first prize in the painting competition. That's her winning entry.
