Getting ready . . .
The barricades are being placed around the Grove today in anticipation for tomorrow's King Mango Strut.
I don't want to be part of the parade unit this year because I want to take photos and do a slide show of the Strut for the Grapevine. Our group is Code Enforcement, where we'll be dressed up as enforcers and give out citations for smiling, scratching your head, laughing, etc.
AnnaMaria feels I should take the photos from "the inside" but I don't see how I would get every group that way and then she was planning on how I could get shots from overhead at the end of the parade when the Mangobama dance happens -- like from Chili's or from Le Bouchon's roof or The Knife's terrace over Main Highway.
How can I be in the parade, get pictures of all the groups and then get the Mangobama dance from overhead all at the same time? Harry where are you?
