Sammy C's (3540 Main Highway) is having Disco Happy Hour every Wednesday, from 5 pm to midnight.
Ladies drink free champagne and wine from 5 to 7 pm and drinks are 2 for 1 from 5 to 8 pm along with a complimentary buffet from 5 to 7 pm.

What a great idea. These guys are really trying - let's support them.
The place is great but the bartenders are terrible.It takes forever to get a drink, even when it's not that full.

It's the former Cefalo's, a block south of the Coconut Grove Playhouse.
But make it clear, it is not Cefalo's - it is much better.
Cefalo's was unfriendly, stuffy and even tho they made an attempt at giving us the old Taurus, they missed the mark by a mile - make that 2 miles. Cefalo's always made you feel that you were lucky they allowed you in there. No one was warm, remembered you, or treated you special. That's what makes Greenstreet and George's so special.
I totally disagree about the bartenders, last Friday one of the bartenders bought a shot for the bar (when is the last time that happened) and Tabitha is always sweet and friendly and efficient.
