Hot off the presses -- the 2009 Coconut Grove Calendar
I'd like to introduce the 2009 Coconut Grove Calendar, brought to you by the Coconut Grove Grapevine.
I have cultivated photos over the year and put 13 of them in this glossy new calendar. They are only $19.99 each. You may see all 13 images and purchase them here. This is the inaugural run and will be a collector's item.
If any merchants or organizations would care to carry the calendars, please email me for bulk pricing. 15 would be minimum for that.
We have also added some nice note cards with Grove scenes and t-shirts and will be adding other items. They are all in our 33133 Store.

Does the calendar show the 2009 pre-set events in Coconut Grove?
No, this is based on photos more than anything. And too many Grove events change dates too often to be included in a calendar a year in advance.
Good job. I think though you should have used the photos you used at the top of your blog throughout the year and more sailboats.
Give me a Grove girls' swimsuit edition.
I agree with Anonymous Oct 01 / 4:31pm. The calendar IS nice, but I'm not sure people would automatically say... Ah! That's the Grove! A park, a street, some canal... Could be Coral Gables to the unaware. We need more authentic and less generic street and water scenes.
The Barnacle and the Grove waterfront is hardly generic.
Tom gave me a calendar this morning and I have to say, they are spectacular. The photos are incredible and they ALL say Coconut Grove.
I would have liked to have the sailing club, Peacock Park, the Women's Club, a street scene with A LOT of people instead of the top of the Arts and Mind Center, and what about the Mayfair that is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Grove - rather than the girl with umbrella walking in front of Cocowalk which looks vacant. Only suggestions. Thoughts for 2010.
Rude people read this blog.
Dear anon 2:27 pm
..and it's a good thing, too, or it would not get nearly as many hits...
Calendar is great, bthw. -- Margot
