Fired up and marching to vote
Today a group of Obama supporters had a march called "Fired Up and Ready to Vote." They started at the Farmer's Market location on Grand Avenue and marched up Grand, down to McFarlane Road, turned on McFarlane, up to South Bayshore Drive and from there, marched all the way to City Hall to vote.
Leading the group was City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, above right and Annette Taddeo, left, who is running against Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in Florida's 18th Congressional District (our district).
An antique City of Miami fire truck added some color to the march and so did some police on horseback (not shown). Traffic was stopped on Main Highway as the marchers did their thing.

it's so nice to see Americans fired and ready to vote for the first time in so many years.

That is one great photo. Had I not already voted I would have joined up. Your picture says it all.
