Figure drawing classes start this week
Hilary studied art at Wimbledon School of Art and Design in London and studied figure drawing with Ian Woodrow, the English artist and painting with Charles Breaker, one of hte last of the Newlyn School in Cornwall, England.
She taught arts and crafts in Norfolk, England and moved to the US in 1994. She had three watercolor paintings accepted for the Biennale in Florence in 2000.
Hilary is convinced that within every person is a creative spirit that sometimes needs a little help to express itself and claims that anyone can learn to draw because drawing is not really about drawing -- it's more about looking. Techniques can be learned and the results are often surprising.
The cost of four classes is $120.00 and includes the model fee. Classes are Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30 pm.
