En Plein Air to be held this weekend
OK, they're going to try it again. This weekend is the En Plein Air art "paint out," which will be all over the Grove. It was rained out last weekend. And since this weekend is the Columbus Day weekend, a third day was added.
The schedule is:
Saturday - 8 am to dusk
Sunday - 8 am to dusk
Monday - 8 am to 6 pm
This is a great weekend for the event since the Grove will be hopping with people. The popular Columbus Day Regatta will be going on and lots of tour buses have been unloading happy European shoppers all over the Grove. And with the three day weekend, it's sure to be a busy place around here -- add the artists to the streets and it's really going to be a happening weekend -- the place to be.
The awards reception will be October 19, the following Sunday, tentatively 2 pm, with Commissioner Sarnoff presenting the awards.

Great. btw, 20 years around this area I've NEVER seen so many people roaming around on a Thursday night. Even the Tavern had a waiting line for the newbies.. Da Grove!
