They take their chocolate seriously

So it's like this. The old Anokha space on Commodore Plaza is going to be a new Swiss restaurant opening in about a month's time. They gutted the whole place and are installing new bathrooms, new walls, lighting, etc. Marble is going on the facade today. Supposedly they will be through with most structural things by the end of the week. The Swiss move on time and pretty fast. Love their timepieces and their chocolate.

Speaking of chocolate, the chocolate shop will be next door where the Women's Fitness gym was. I asked the guy working here about the "candy store," he got a bit insulted and told me it's a "chocolate shop, not a candy store." Love the Swiss. :)

The Chocolate shop will be opening in a few months, hopefully around Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's funny that the chocolate shop is taking the place of the gym, it sort of reminds me of the Jenny Craig next to Dunkin' Donuts on US1.

i always feel bad for people going to jenny craig on us1. I mean jeez you walk out of there and you are bombarded with giant posters of junk food coupled with a bunch of people snacking on donuts. Its not right.

The gym had to know that was not the location for them. Hopefully they will put tables out and sit and keep an eye on the post office for us.

I still remember when that spot was the fantastic Brazilian bakery (Love-n-Pieces or something like that). Their brigadeiro was to die for, as was their coxinhas. Yuuummmmm
