Taking Back The Grove group met last night
The "Take Back The Grove" group met again last night. One of their plans is to get an actual name for the group, and drop TBTG. Also, they did not elect a mayor yet.
Their main goal now is to get more people involved. I was thinking that the "Mayor" in Denver was Glenn Terry joking around, the description sounded like him, but you can see him here at the meeting last night, so guess that was not him in Colorado.
I am told that next week they will have a "laser sharp agenda" on addressing the group's growth and also they will start tackling the practical reasons why this is good for the Grove and the people and communities in Miami. You can sign up here if you like.

My wife and I would like to attend but the meetings are a tad too early for us. Any chance of moving the day and time?
This (blog dear Grape) is, and has become a very important portal for us Grovites to come together (as well as equally differ) on many of the issues that affect our unique way of life. You do a great service, and I thank you. This "Take Back The Grove thing" as you call it, is what the heart and soul of our community is all about! I hope it builds momentum, and creates positive change. We all need to get involved and make it happen...

About the group name: How does "groverhaul" sound? combining grove and overhaul...maybe treat me to a cup of coffee if you use it...
