"Searching for the Perfect Hooters Girl"
On Thursday, August 14, Hooters (3015 Grand Avenue) is hosting the "Searching for the Perfect Hooters Girl" party.
The Hawaiian Luau-themed event will welcome Hooters girls from all over South Florida wearing their sexiest bikinis. In keeping with the evening’s theme, Hooters will be transformed into a tropical paradise including a waterfall.
Scheduled to attend are award-winning country music star Cody Mabe and Ovid Stevens of Seals & Crofts. In addition, beer specials include Presidente pints for $3.50.
The party starts at 8 pm and goes on into the wee hours. There is no cover charge.

Hmmmmm, maybe I could be convinced to fly to Miami in August!!
OK I bit and showed up with 2 buddies. They did do the Luau theme but did NOT have bikini contest. It was a sham. And the old codgers they had singing were just plain bad.
