St. Stephen's Kicks Off Red Cross Training

St. Stephen's is holding a standard first aid program for adults and children. In this six and a half hour class, participants will learn the skills to recognize and care for cardiac emergencies in adults and children and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
The class also includes skills to care for poisoning, bleeding, diabetic emergencies, exposure to heat and cold, seizures, and injuries to bones, muscles and joints.

Participants will receive a booklet and skill cards to use reference material after the course. This course meets the ECC 2005 Guidelines and OSHA requirements.

PLACE: St. Stephen's, 2750 McFarlane Road
TIME: 9 am - 4:30 pm
COST: $62
Reduced rate parking is available in the St. Stephen's lot.
