Qdoba, we hardly knew ya!
That didn't take long. What a crock, they took months to renovate, proudly opened February 8 and five months later they are kaput.

The Magazine Fast Company had a good article about this -- the theory is try often, fail quickly.
The electronic store, Incredible Universe, had the same thing. If you see a business is not going well, sometimes it is much better to close it and move on.
"what a crock" ... why are you taking it so personal? Who cares? The Grove lost a fast food restaurant ... dime a dozen. Big deal. PS ... thanks for your great blog!
I say good riddance! Who needs another crappy chain when Grove Institutions are on the endagered species list?
some of you love that kind of food but it was really bad, never fresh, too big and to empty.
I think Houston would do so well in Grove
I agree the food was terrible.
I also believe the theory about trying often and fail quickly. There is a book that relates to this called "The Dip"
I will bet if The Home Depot decides to close their doors, that the author of this blog does not call it a "crock".
I ate in Qdoba often and liked it. I have never shopped in Home Depot. Why do you care what I do and where I eat and shop?
that place was awful. I only ate there when my co-workers dragged me there. We need decent, inexpensive places to eat in the Grove. I like Jaguars, Le Bouchon, and Greenstreet but that's more of a "once a month" kind of lunch.
I really don't see how people are calling Qdoba awful. If you got something like the fajita, it was fresh peppers, onions and chicken, seasoned to perfection. Not sure how that is so awful?
I mean I practically live at Focaccia, Jaguar, Georges and Greenstreet. But I didn't find Qdoba awful. Cefalos' now that food was putrid. :)
How about putting a strip club where Qdoba was? Anyone agree? Just kidding. How about a nice deli where one can pick up a good sandwich w/o having to go to Gardners (which is WAY overpriced)?
