MEMO TO SELF!

If they sell Monty's, where will Joe Arriola and I meet? There are not that many establishments with booths in dark corners.

I believe that the city owns all the property, and Monty's leases from the city (which is why Manny had to wash his hands of the business). The original deal was that the city would get a percentage of sales (I don't know what the deal is now.) At one point, when Terremark (Manny Medina)owned the business, they rented the property from the city, then rented the business to someone else. The city was paid a percentage of the lowered rent and not a percentage of sales.
