Congrats to Mari-Nalli at CocoWalk for winning "Best Quesadilla" in this year's New Times Best of 2008 poll.Two other Grove places made the list:
Best Place to Mountain Bike - Grove Skate Park
Best French Restaurant - Le Bouchon du Grove
Best Blog went to Eye On Miami. Well deserved.

Alas, MariNalli is gone, replaced by something called International Quesadilla (IQ). It seems to have similar food and may have the same owners, but the MariNalli name is gone.
Also, the Fonzie's Grill name seems to have evaporated. The place is still open, but when I asked this afternoon the person behind the counter said that the owner hadn't yet decided on the new name. Anyone have any insight into what happened?
IQ's owners are the same as Marinalli -- the folks from Jaguar. Who know why they changed the name-- perhaps because it took longer to say Marinalli-- but IQ is the same wonderful menu, only with more. Lili
I just called to confirm what LIli Done wrote and it's true. Same exact owner just a new name and a beefed up manu.
