It was a successful opening night
I sent Sylvia out last night to get some photos of George's in the Grove (3145 Commodore Plaza). They had a huge crowd for opening night. Sylvia told me she enjoyed the food and wine. I think she had too much wine, because aside from these two photos, the rest came out too dark to use.You can see George Farge in the center of both photos, making the rounds. That's Lee Marks standing in the photo below listening to George's words of wisdom. He really does know how to run a restaurant and throw a party, which actually are one in the same when it comes to George.

I popped in for dinner after a few cocktails at Tu Tu Tango. Food was fantastic overall and the place was packed. George and Lee are both good guys. I'll be writing up a review later today. Good to have a winner in the Grove though as we are running out of options for a good meal.
