Indifferent parents

Drove by Kennedy Park a short time ago. Saw lots of children, small ones, maybe 3 to 5 years old, playing far away from their parents. Guess all the flyers posted around the park warning parents to keep close is falling on blind eyes and deaf ears.

Oh come on! If a guy grabbed the kid from 4 feet away, a parent should remain 2 feet away from kids at all times?!?
Believe it or not, most parents know where and what a child is doing even if they aren't staring them down every second. Remember how your mom would say "put that cookie back" even when her back was turned? Same in the park.

Thank you! The incident was freightning but are you suggesting that parents place leashes on thier kids or worse yet stop taking them to the park?
