Free showing of Who Killed the Electric Car?

Tomorrow, April 11, there is a special free screening of "Who Killed the Electric Car?" at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive).

From 5:15-6:45 pm electric vehicles will be displayed at the City Hall parking lot. The film follows at 7 pm; from 8:30-9 pm, special guest and electric vehicle activist Chelsea Sexton will conduct Q & A. More info: 305-250-5333

At free, it's still overpirced. The most fictitious "crockumentary" ever written. Somehow manages to fail to mention the other two automakers who built and then also killed their own electric car program - Toyota and Honda. Film is convincing if 1) you are gullible and 2) know nothing about the problems with electric cars.
The film uses the "infomercial technique" of conning the viewers,
with shills, including Hollywood stars desperate to display their green credentials. The films's writer, Chris Paine, made a backroom deal with Toyota and then rewrote history and doesn't mention them. They built
and canceled more (and better) electric cars than GM. The Honda EV was also a far better car than the EV-1.
