Changing the art at Café Tu Tu Tango

Yesterday was "art change day" at Café Tu Tu Tango (at CocoWalk). Every six weeks, the "old" art comes down and the new goes up. I loved seeing all the Tu Tu Tango "characters" in one place. I usually see one or two at a time painting at the center easel's but yesterday they were all out early in the morning, taking down the art that was there and replacing it with new art.

Above you see Barbara Tejada and Uta, just Uta, like Madonna or Cher and below is my friend Theresa, who was preparing her new art to put on display.

Here's Uta again, up on the ladder, getting the art up before the lunchtime crowds arrive. As the locals know, Café Tu Tu Tango is the perfect spot to enjoy shared appetizers, drinks and see local artists at work, and of course you can purchase the art right there on the spot.

Don't see Theresa famous for her Pearbutts.
If you want to see her, she and Uta work Monday nights. Linda Aptiletti who you featured earlier in the Week works on Wednesday nights. Grovite Audrey Scott is at TuTu's on Thursday nights. They are all talented, selling artists and single (their going to not love me for that last observation. }
