That's what, um, maybe one guest a year?
The blurb neglected to mention that the Sonesta raises their garage parking rates every time someone turns their back. They are supposed to charge $1.25 per hour, but have been known to charge flat fees of $10.00 when no one is looking.
If the Sonesta wants to do good, how about they buy some art at Anna-Maria's gallery benefit to help the Woman's Club -- you know, that little historic building they cast a huge shadow over, next to the gravesite they wanted to dig up for their parking garage entrance.

Yeah, that is hardly going green. The right way to start would be to change all of the linens to sustainable fabrics and proceed from there.
Sorry to tell you, but the Sonesta Managment company DOESNOT own the garage. They dont even own the 211 condos! In fact they dont even own one inch of the building!! They are only a hotel flag. In Manhattan if you park your "Green" hybrid car at a meter, you donot have to pay. Maybe all of Miami should follow this idea. Free parking is the way to fly.
