New Mural/Billboard ordinance being pushed
Watch City Manager Pete Hernandez, Commissioner Marc Sarnoff and Steve Hagen on CBS 4 at 11 pm tonight or Tuesday night at 11.
According to Steve Hagen: "I basically said that murals and billboards are litter on a stick and that the public, including our tourists, have the right to a litter free environment or at least an environment which is highly regulated, not the advertising friendly ordinance drafted by Mayor Diaz."
You can email or call Commissioners and tell them to either approve "no ordinance on murals" or "approve Commissioner Sarnoff's version" as it is the most regulated and it provides dollars for purchasing public parkland.

Also please tell your Commissioner to schedule these important items after 5 pm so residents can attend meetings and be heard. They need to realize that most people work during daytime hours. Remember we just passed the Citizens Bill of Rights!

The entire state of Hawaii has no billboards. Now there is a state of intelligence. Billboards have zero benefit to anybody.
