Moments in time -- the village life
My neighbor Alvaro and I were talking and he said, "The Grove is a Village again." It's true. I don't know what the BIC or Chamber or even Village Council has done, but they have made the place really enjoyable.
I spent most of the holiday season right here in the Grove -- shopping, dining, going to the gym -- finally here and not in the Gables -- and even watched a movie in the park! It's really a pleasure.

ive really enjoyed this month in the grove as well. And apparently so are my neighbors because i keep running into them. By the way grape did you hear starbucks lease is finally up and they are moving out of there overpriced lease building and over into the center dome at cocowalk? Frankly they will probably do just as well there and will probably help cocowalk. The rent must have been insane to make cocowalk a cheaper option. I commend cocowalk again for there effort to fill vacent shops and really clean up the place
Yes, I was going to post a story on Starbucks, guess I don't have to post it now.
Lets get the Clock Working!!
The clock is basically right. I looked at the original photo and it says 5:21 pm (my lucky number by the way -- 521), so the clock is off a couple of minutes or my camera is off. Either way, the clock has the right time on or off a minute or two.
Dear Grapevine. Check the OTHER side of the clock. Not so good....
Looks to me like thc clock says 17 minutes after 5:30. Yesterday at 5:30 pm, one side of the clock read 4:05 and the other 7:45. Seven million bucks of renovation and a dud clock. No wonder the place is half empty; mamagement ain't paying attention.
