Chamber meeting was a success at Al Fresco
Guest Speaker Michael Spring, Director of Miami-Dade's Dept. of Cultural Affairs delivered a wonderful "State-of-the-Arts" address, enhanced by the a Jazz ensemble, a Christmas Chorale, and a promotional performance art piece by the talented students of the Arts & Minds Center.
Al Fresco is not open for lunch, as during the day it turns into a a lively school patio, but stop in any evening for a real treat - from fresh, Brick Oven baked bread and pizza (this one is gourmet and comes with a side of arugula), to more sophisticated fare -- carpacios, fresh pastas, etc. all rather reasonably priced. If the Alfresco atmosphere with music videos on the large screen is not for you, there are two inviting dining rooms. There is no reason why this should not become a favorite Grove restaurant. Al Fresco is located at 3138 Commodore Plaza.
