Artist at work at Cafe Tu Tu Tango
I found artist Jeffrey Passage doing his thing at Cafe Tu Tu Tango at CocoWalk last night. He's usually there every Friday night. I had to wait to speak to him because he was busy selling a piece to a tourist who appreciated the work, which is actually a great Grove/Miami souvenir.The tourist bought a picture of Scotty's Landing and then had Jeffrey show him on a map where Scotty's Landing actually is. I guess he liked the look of the place from the rendering and then wanted to check it out in person.
Jeffrey is the artist from New Orleans who is now making the Grove his new home. His art is on the post cards being sold at the Heart of the Grove Gallery. His website is here: http://www.passage-studio.com/.

Jeffrey painted a watercolor of the University of Notre Dame for me and it turned out great. I gave it as a gift to a friend and he also loved it.
I emailed my photos, he sent back a preview sketch for me to approve and then it was completed in less than 2 weeks. He was very nice, easy to work with. It was a fun experience.
