Give thanks for the vultures.
The amount of garbage left after the concert was pretty deplorable. I stood there as it was winding down and witnessed people leaving in their wake trash strewn everywhere. I personally don't/can't understand how you eat from a plate, drink from a cup then drop it at your feet. It's a disparaging mentality that unfortunately is an indication of the awareness of the majority of citizens on our planet. How sad for us all.

The show was great. It was so easy to park (for free at the Women's Club) and then walk unemcumbered into the park. Apart from the slothfulness lack of conscience of many in the crowd, it was really a nice vibe.
I hope more events like that will take place...
If the City would clean up right after these events the buzzards wouldn't be attracted to the park.
We all need to be personally responsible. It's not about the city cleaning up after us!
I recently went to a festival in Toronto (massive festival with over 15,000 people) and there was probably less garbage than at Peacock Park. AND there were recycle bins setup everywhere.
One thing I have noticed is that many times trash bins are full. Garbage pouring out the top onto the floor, why not put out more bins?
