Pink wall crumbles

There goes the pink wall. Workers have been taking down the wall to make way for a new wall. One lane of US 1 heading north, will be shut down from 11 am to 6 pm daily for about four months.

Tearing down walls is a good thing - metaphorically speaking.

the process seems to have changed on the wall transformation. At several meetings we were told that they were going to go yard by yard and take out the old wall, put in the temporary barrier and privacy fence and then bring in the new wall that was pre-fab. We were told this process would take about a week for a house. Once the process was completed, they would move on to the next house. Has anyone been notified about this change in methodology?

Has anyone been driving on US1 in the morning around 8am? What's the commute like? Tons of traffic or not bad?

commute is not a problem in the morning at all. What is a problem is going north on US 1 after 11:00 am when they are working on the wall until after 6:00 pm.

Yup, I drove down US1 today and it was smooth sailing like it usually is on Fridays. Its funny how on Mondays and Fridays there is little to no traffic on US1.
