Halloween in the Grove
Halloween night should be just as wacky and wild in the Grove as previous years. By midnight the streets are usually closed near CocoWalk where thousands of people congregate to have a good time and show off their costumes. I'll post photos the next day, look for yourself here if you plan on attending.
CocoWalk is having some sort of Halloween costume contest.
For the kids, earlier in the day, the Virrick Park Halloween Annual Halloween Party, sponsored by the Miami Parks and Recreation Department, the Police Athletic League, the Barnyard and the YMCA, will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Elizabeth Virrick Park, 3255 Plaza St.
Food and drinks and a costume contest will be featured. For information, call 305-445-0123.
