Chair Affair at Heart of the Grove Gallery

The Heart of the Grove Art Gallery & Gift Shop (3439 Main Hwy.) will celebrate its one year anniversary November 9-11 with a slate of activities including the first-ever “Chair Affair,” a design contest of local artists and non-artists, who will paint and decorate chairs. All are welcome to enter.

Festivities begin Friday November 9, 6-9 pm with a Gallery Opening of new works and a silent auction of the chairs. A share of all proceeds will benefit the non-profit GroveHouse Artists’ Cooperative and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

The chairs will be judged by a panel of Grove Art Patrons (to be announced later). Cash prizes will be awarded to all winners on Sunday November 11at a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party sponsored by the Grand Bay Hotel.

All events are free and open to the public.
