Related should never have gotten permission to get the zoning change on the Mercy site. Now six lawsuits in opposition.
It was crazy that 3 commissioners voted against Dist 2. And then it was crazy Manny "I love concrete" Diaz attempted to change the terms AFTER the commission vote. What was he thinking?
Anyone placing bets?
One wonders if Marc was misquoted and actually said "eventually" instead of "inevitably", the former word seeming a more natural usage in this instance. The error, if there was one, would be easy for a reporter to make and doesn't really change the substance of his remark. Call this Monday morning nitpicking.
I have to laugh at that quote. It may be a Yogi Berraism or not, but its probably right.
We all suspect the project will inevitably be built.
We will also will be surprised at how stupid we are.
