Grove artists in South Beach

I saw Coconut Grove artist Fred Hunt (above) on Channel 6's South Florida Today yesterday morning along with AnnaMaria Windish-Hunt. They were promoting a Miami Beach event, "Beach Beyond Deco" She has done four such events for the Grove.

For this weekend's event, check out http://www.mdpl.org/Events/gallery.html. This painting competition is open to all artists and art students are encouraged to participate. All completed art work will hang in the Miami Design Preservation League's Visitor Center for six weeks. The reception for the event is June 5, from 6 to 8 pm at their location at 10th Street and Ocean Drive. It's free.
