Christabelle's Quarter
We noticed a bunch of chefs out back, who seemed to be in for training.
The place is fantastic. You walk in and are transported to another place and time. GM Michael McCarthy has every detail covered. This is the place in the Grove to experience New Orleans Cuisine among live Jazz and Blues. The wood carved bar at the entrance is beautiful and the stained glass is to magnificent.
There are three floors. The third floor is reserved for private events and parties.
You look up and you'll be in awe at the stained glass ceiling.
Michael can be reached at michael@christabellesquarter.com or you can call 786-517-JAZZ OR 786-517-BLUES. They have a website here: www.christabellesquarter.com .

Wow. Quite an investment in our neighborhood. Good for them. I can't wait until they open. Support them!
Yes, it looks worthy. Hope to get there some day. I like the combination of jazz and blues which should be a nice compliment to the food and booze.
The place is a work of art. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the ambiance. We'll give it another chance though.
Our experience at this new restaurant was the worst possible.
Absolutely no service, the food took 2 hours to come and it came cold and not as ordered (the Filets looked like remains of a dead animal after a forest fire). The staff had no clue how to serve well or how to (at least) try to meake the clients feel better (we only spoke to our waiter 3 times in the whole 3 hours we spent there).
Needless to say, i'll never return.
They say it cost USD 7 million to build that restaurant; It is beautifull alright; but that's it.
It was packed and i felt like a cow going into slaughter...
