Being Fresh for charity
The Fresh Market is holding their 13th annual ''Sidewalk Sales'' to benefit the South Florida Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation this weekend from Friday through Sunday. I said I wouldn't go back due to their shoddy service, but for a charity event, I am there.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, root beer floats and chocolate chip cookies are available for charity donations.
The Fresh Market Coconut Grove, located at 2640 S. Bayshore Dr.
Last year, all the Fresh Market stores combined raised $108,000 to help fund research on Type 1 or juvenile diabetes.
The Sidewalk Sale will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
