Cocowalk's date
Why are the numbers off the front of Cocowalk? It used to say 1990, the year it opened.
A couple of us were walking by the other day and a couple of tourists asked us to take their picture, in front of the entrance. That's when I noticed the date was down. It looks naked without it. Anyone know why the numbers were removed?
Come to think of it, I don't even see it in the picture I took for top of this blog. But you can see it in this old photo. The red arrow is pointing to the numbers.

Maybe they can sell it as historic. ; ) I dunno. This IS a town that HATES its history and tries to ignore the fact that most of our city's buildings do in fact date from another era that it wants to imagine is a world away. Love the 33133 items! Are you officially a conglomerate now? GO GROVE!
perhaps the numbers fell victim to hurricane wilma?
Did you ever think to get off your Butt and make a call instead of everyone jumping to conclusions and making up their own stories?? Let’s see if you can do it. It took me 1 minute to find Cocowalk's phone number on-line: (305)444-0777. If you are truly interested give them a call and let us know what they say.
