It's gonna be a long, hot summer

Some crazy things going on around here. Last week a clothing store in the Grove was broken into and expensive clothing was stolen. The thief got in by breaking the front window. Why? Because the City had all businesses remove the protective grates in front of the windows for cosmetic reasons.

Less than smart move by the City.

Then there was a big guy in a red shirt who walked into Lucky 14, the smoke shop, earlier this week, and he maced the girl behind the counter. He didn't take anything, he just maced her and left. Thanks to CCTV cameras, he was seen outside and inside the business. The next day, he walked by and was seen by someone who recognized him. As he walked into Starbucks to use the bathroom, the witness called the police who showed up right away. They grabbed him as he left Starbucks. He was arrested and taken off.
