Dr. Antinarealla to speak on historic preservation

The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove invites you to join them at their next luncheon, on Thursday, April 5 at 12:30 pm at the Sailing Club to hear Dr. Judith Antinarella of The Villagers speak about the timely topic of historic preservation.

The work of The Villagers began in 1966 with an effort by residents to save and preserve the historic Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables. Since that time, The Villagers have expanded their mission and service to include not only the preservation of historic sites all over Miami-Dade County but to contribute to scholarships and education for high school and university students.

Members of the group have also been involved in research relation to the preservation of historic sites.

Dr. Judith Antinarella is a retired faculty member of Miami Dade College – Wolfson  Campus Social Sciences Department. She is a resident of Miami for 65 years and is active in historic and environmental preservation and civic engagements.

The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove meets every Thursday at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 2990 South Bayshore Drive. The cost of the meeting is $25 with lunch or $15 without lunch.
