Yes, indeed these people have made a lot of contributions to the Grove. They deserved to be respected for their effort even the obstacles and the karma.

It would be nice if the City of Miami thought it fitting that we here in Village West should receive official notification of the scheduled meetings. Thank goodness for you, Ton Falco. I guessw that's why your publication is called the grapevine.

Clarice,
NET sent out the notices yesterday. I distributed flyers this morning at CG Ministerial Alliance. And there will be a concerted effort to make sure residents know about the upcoming informational meeting. It is open to the Public.

I believe in preservation, heritage, but I also dont quite get the fact that I dont seem to see Pride in the community. As an example, the home being shown in the article a battered entrance fence in front of it,may not seem significant. Even rental buildings that are owned by slumlords, but you see residents in those properties with junk, garbage everywhere.Rugs clothing hanging on railings. It takes having pride in what you have, and what you can do around you to make even a small difference.

Do people have a full understanding of what is involved with this move? I've just had someone contact me about what transpired on Saturday when the meeting was held on park benches because the building was locked up.

Something very bad is afoot here, and folks in the West Grove need to show up at tonight's meeting!!!!!!!!!!!
